MEET INMATE #2409752 _ Lindsay Lohan’s in jail. As expected, she checked in to her new home-away-from-home on Tuesday to begin her jail sentence.

… Lindsay Lohan’s dinner Tuesday night was turkey casserole with noodles, coleslaw, apple sauce, wheat bread, and milk.

… In addition to the cramped 6′ x 10′ jail cell in total isolation that’s outfitted with just a toilet and a cot, Lindsay’s only other amenities will apparently be a small tube of toothpaste, a white toothbrush, three packets of cream deodorant, three packets of shampoo and a small bar of soap.

… She can kiss her hair extensions and her makeup goodbye, as those are not permitted inside of Lynwood.

… An inmate released yesterday said, “We all jumped up and started yelling her name through the glass. Some people yelled ‘God bless you!’ I think she was scared at first, but when she saw us she smiled. She was cuffed, and she looked up and started smiling. She’ll be okay.”

… Lindsay Lohan is actually handling jail well, sources at Lynwood told TMZ late Tuesday. She was “polite, compliant and responsive” and wasn’t crying.

A fifth tape allegedly of Mel Gibson’s rage is making the rounds, courtesy of Radar Online, which bills this as the tape in which he “completely loses it.” In tape number five Mel rants that money’s apparently run short enough that the Lakers luxury box tickets have been sold, and paintings have been sold, and there’s no money for a dress. Mel says to his ex-girlfriend, “I just thought I’d tell you that the [Lakers] box is gone because of you … because I spent too much …  money on you — and my wife knows it’s you.” Spent money to the tune of more than $5 million, he says. Around the time of Mel’s divorce he was reportedly worth $1 billion, give or take, and without a prenup his now ex-wife would’ve been entitled to half of what was amassed during their 28 years together.
