Matt says, Matt spent his primary learning years isolated in his room playing video games as an only child with no neighbors to play a modest game of cops & robbers with. At 13 years old, with no salvageable future in sight, some older kids moved across the street and together they discovered rock music. They jammed endlessly on what they thought was music but to others was an audible catastrophe. Matt played bass and guitar in numerous bands during his years at Pleasant Valley High School performing genres from blues to thrash metal. He spends his time going to concerts, collecting music, and wasting more money than necessary on music gear to find the right tone. |

LISTEN Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia Band, Talking Heads, Steve Kimock Band, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Blues, Jazz, and an unhealthy mix of many others. I own more music than I could hear in my lifetime. WATCH South Park, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Breaking Bad, and I really miss the old History Channel before the alien conspiracies! READ Anything history or music related. LIKES Playing music, hunting Craigslist & eBay for stuff I can't afford, spending hours on YouTube, IPA's and dark beer. DISLIKES Mainstream media and their fight to destroy our individuality. People that take things that don't belong to them. Most of all, Coors Light. FEAR People with no sense of humor! COMPLETE THE SENTENCE... How did you get into radio... Honestly, I've had a beef with most radio stations for limiting themselves to one genre of music, or playing only the top 40 songs. I've grown out of 92-107 FM years ago. I'm lucky to have found a radio station that's not afraid to throw a wrench into the gears of conformity. Have you ever been to jail? Quite a few times, but I rolled doubles to get out. If you were to be stranded on a deserted island, what 3 things would you take with you? As if I would know ahead of time that I would be stranded on a deserted island? I would be a dead man, unless I ran into Les Stroud taping an episode of Survivorman. If you could have dinner with anyone (dead or alive), who would it be? Depends on who's buying? If you were going to be on a reality TV show (real or fake), what would it be? Watch my show for two months, and you'll be rewarded with hours of false feelings and a numb brain! What’s waiting for you when you get home? My ladies, some neglected, others abused: My Highway One Strat, Les Paul Jr., Ibanez Semi-Hollow body, Fender Precision Lyte... Lot's of music gear, and a huge debt that I owe to my parents! |
